If you have not rented the whole property there may be other dogs around - you know your dog best, and for the sake of current and future guests please act accordingly. The properties are not all fenced in, and we live close to nature so please expect to share the space with other animals such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, opossums, skunks and birds.
